Individuals

Skillpod’s programs for individuals are geared towards young adults who are entering the workforce or who would like to upgrade their skills. Skillpod offers both in-person and online workshops that help you build, document and communicate your strengths.

Do you have the skills to thrive in work and life?

You have worked various jobs, gone to school and still look at job descriptions and do not feel qualified. If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. We have heard this over and over from young people we have interviewed and this feeling is backed up by evidence and research.

According to the Deloitte Millennial Survey 2018, “Fewer than four in 10 millennials (36 percent) and three in 10 Gen Z currently in work (29 percent) believe they have the skills and knowledge they’ll need to thrive.”

There has been a tremendous shift from an industrial economy to a transferable skills-based economy. The Skillpod program can help you build skills that are needed to thrive in work and life.

Skillpod puts you in the driver’s seat. It is our goal that by participating in this work, you will be able to identify your strengths and areas for improvement, and develop a language that will help you articulate your unique skills and what value you bring to a future employer.

Skillpod will help you develop confidence as you start to own your story that you can begin to apply to your personal brand.
