Selfwork is the ability to manage oneself. When I was in high school I had a big project, and I was so nervous that I couldn’t finish it correctly. It was traumatic for the longest time. But I wanted to be a teacher, so I learned selfwork skills and thought about what caused my failures, what made me nervous, and identified areas in need of improvement.
Since then, my resilience has improved and I can visualize a positive future. If I had not mastered these skills, I would not have been able to initiate new tasks because I would have given up and gotten frustrated easily. My future employers would appreciate me because I know what I need to do for the company and won’t quit easily because of stress or hard work.
