Communication skills allow us to connect with people by exchanging information. It helps to build out personal and professional network. For the recruitment process at Tiffany & Co., I had to participate in a digital interview. I wanted to show them that I was a good digital citizen and qualified candidate for the job. I read the job description and digital interview purpose to understand the skills that they were looking for. I used this to tailor my communication styles to highlight relevant skills strengths and experience. Due to this, I was able to get a job offer from the company. An employer would value my communication skills as I have strong presentation and written skills which help me convey my points to an audience.
